Baumhaus depicts a big house resting on small roots. The roots reflect the explosive landscape, but they are also a metaphor of the people of the mountains, so strongly tied to their land. There is something disturbing about the house; it has no windows or doors; it‘s like a meteorite that has dropped down from the sky, destroying the forest around it. It draws our attention to the issue of ecological balance, destroyed by policies that disregard the environment.

Baumhaus raffigura una grande casa che poggia su piccole radici. Le radici rispecchiano il paesaggio così prorompente ma sono anche metafora della po-polazione di montagna fortemente legata al proprio territorio. La casa ha un aspetto angosciante, non ha finestre né porte; è come un meteorite piombato dal cielo distruggendo il bosco. È un rimando al tema dell’equilibrio ecologico, stravolto ormai da politi-che disattente all’ambiente.

Das Werk Baumhaus stellt ein großes Haus dar, das von kleinen Wurzeln gehalten wird. Diese spiegeln die überwältigende Landschaft wider, sind aber auch Metapher für die Bergbewohner, die sehr eng mit ih-rer Umwelt verbunden sind. Das Haus ist ziemlich beängstigend, es hat weder Fenster noch Türen; es ist wie ein Meteorit, der vom Himmel gefallen ist und den Wald zerstört hat. Die Arbeit verweist auch auf das Thema des ökologischen Gleichgewichtes, das auf Grund einer Politik, die kein Umweltbewusstsein zu haben scheint, aus den Fugen geraten ist.
