The work I created depicts an adolescent, a sculpture that has been hollowed out, and the space between the two parts reveals that the figure is a fragile shell, as vulnerable as the soul is at this stage in life. I like the idea of calling up different reactions among the public, which is why I designed a project that allows visitors to project themselves mentally into the psyche and emotions of the figure it represents.

“L’opera che ho realizzato raffigura un’adolescente, una scultura svuotata all’interno e lo spazio fra le due parti può far intendere la figura come un guscio fragile, così com’è vulnerabile l’animo in questa fase della vita. Mi piace l’idea di far suscitare emozioni diverse al pubblico, per questo ho proget-tato un lavoro che consenta al visitatore di proiettarsi mentalmente nella psiche e nell’emotività della figu-ra rappresentata.”

Bei meiner Skulptur handelt es sich um ein junges Mädchen. Die Skulptur ist innen hohl und durch den leeren Raum dazwischen erscheint die Figur als eine zerbrechliche Schale, so wie auch das Gemüt in die-ser Lebensphase verletzlich sein kann. Mir gefällt der Gedanke, im Betrachter unterschiedliche Ge-mütsbewegungen zu wecken, weshalb ich auch zwi-schen den zwei Hälften einen leeren Raum gelassen habe, um dem Betrachter die Möglichkeit zu geben, sich selbst in die Psyche und in die Gefühlswelt der dargestellten Figur hineinzuversetzen.
